We started out leaving our house and drove down through Oregon, to Boise, then from there to Wyoming, thru the Tetons and Yellowstone to Montana and then back into Washington then home again.
It was a really nice roadtrip, although the weather was in the upper 90's the whole time so we didn't end up camping as planned, we ended up in hotels every night with an air conditioner.
The kids did great with all the driving, I was really shocked and super happy with how great they did! They were wonderful little travelers!!!
The kids had such a blast swimming and both made a lot of improvements on how comfortable they are in the water.
One of our bison pictures at Yellowstone. We were really hoping to see a wide range of animals, but mostly it was a lot of bison.
Grayson fishing at one of our lunch stops in Yellowstone park.
All of us (minus Duncan) with the Teton Mountains behind us. There was a huge forest fire while we were there so visibility was really low, but you can kind of see how beautiful it is there.
The sunset in Jackson Hole. We were actually out at Teton Village for this picture, such a neat place...I really want to go back and stay for awhile and not just drive thru.
Morgan at Craters of the Moon. This was the neatest thing and I have never heard of it. Apparently underground volcanos erupted and lava was all over this area and dried looking like these huge black Moon Rocks. It was really neat. They call it Craters of the Moon and it really does look like you are on the moon when you are driving through.
Me and Duncan at some lake in Idaho - we stopped here for lunch and a break and it was absolutely beautiful
This is how Grayson and Addison were fishing at the lake, just looking at the little fishies :)
Grayson getting Duncan's fishing vest on and heading down to fish!
We drove past this army tank memorial and the kids thought it was pretty awesome, it was somewhere in Idaho but I cannot remember the history behind it, but it was pretty neat!
Here we are going down the lazy river at the water park in Boise Idaho. The kids LOVED this place!
Getting ready to head into the water park :)
This is night one of the trip and the only night we camped. Fairwell Bend Oregon
Just a random picture before we left the house of the kids in our shoes.
