Best Spontaneous Camping Trip Ever!

These pictures are all from our unplanned camping trip that we were on for the past 7 days. Well the kids and I went with my sister, Russ and the girls. Duncan came and met us for the weekend. We had THE BEST time! The kids just had a blast the entire time... riding bikes, swimming, playing on the beaches and playgrounds... baseball, frisbee, smores and campfire popcorn! It was just so much fun, for kids and adults. We are so excited to go back again. We camped at White Salmon, Cascade Locks, Boardman and Maryhill. The weather was mid to upper 80's with a nice breeze. I can't wait to go back :)

We found this awesome secluded beach away from the public swim area, it was super shallow for kids and good sand for them to dig in.

Ok, I realize it is hard to tell from this picture, but this is at that secluded beach we were at, you could walk out about 70 yards and the water never went over your upper calf. It was shallow forever. This is Uncle Russ, Grayson and Emma out there.

Me and Kids in the pool, I am usually the mom who likes to watch daddy and the kids from the side of the pool while I stay nice and warm, but since Duncan couldn't be there I had to suck it up and play in the pool (it was actually really fun)



and Grayson's other favorite thing to do was to squirt everyone who was swimming.
