Hawaii here we come.....

Well I haven't been able to get much sleep the past couple nights. I keep blaming it on the time change but I think it is actually in anticipation for the Hawaii trip. I was nervous, I mean the thought of a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old on a 5 1/2 hour plane ride...yikes, but now I am just really really excited!
Thank you to my mother-in-law for making this happen! I am so excited to be there and enjoy this time with her and the kids, and for the kids to get this time with her. Before my dad passed away, he kept talking about taking me and the kids on a trip with him just like this, he was looking online and getting ready to book a trip for that next summer, so it is a little bittersweet for me, wishing he was going and wishing the kids and I had an opportunity with him like this one. But we didn't.... I am hoping he is watching down on us the whole time we are there and smiling/laughing/and getting teary eyed (classic Bob=teary eyed!).
Now that I have gone and made myself teary eyed (not that it is that hard to do!) I am off for last minute packing and to head out of town!! Here's to hoping we have a stress-free journey, that my kids stay glued to my side, and that we have WONDERFUL people in the seats next to us on the airplane! Oh yeah, and good luck Duncan and all the hunters heading to Montana!
