We lucked out with the weather last weekend since we have been planning this camping trip for a long time with our old Covington neighbors. Friday and Saturday the weather was beautiful! It stormed Saturday night and kind of drizzled Sunday while we were packing up. Wonderful weather for camping the end of September! The RV park we stayed at was a 1/4 mile walk to the beach! We were so lucky. The kids had a great time playing there. Grayson isn't a fan of getting in the ocean but he loves flying kites and playing around. Addison on the other hand is a complete nut ball and runs as fast as her little legs will take her straight into the crashing waves! She kept me on my toes and kept me soaking wet!
This is as wet as Grayson would get...he ran through here several times!
These pictures are out of order, this is actually at the end of the beach adventure when I had ended running into the waves and made her come closer to the dunes (which she let me know she didnt like) but she found this mini lake and just sat there the rest of the time!
Here she is after running and tripping into the water! She got right up and laughed so hard and never cared she was wet and sandy!
I had just rescued her from the waves whisking her away, but all she could say was "more, more!"
Here I am once again getting her to safety, she was determined to get as deep as she could. She loved it when the waves would knock her over.
Running....thinking in her little head how fun this is going to be to run into the waves and get knocked over 50 times, but loving every second!
And here is Grayson, up on the shore flying his kite.
Him and Max, they had the best time playing together! They are such good little buddies!
