So, Grayson scoots his chair over, grabs the box of Cheerios, and asked for some for his snack. He wanted to eat them out of the box though. He has been getting really good at keeping his snacks clean and not making a mess and also sharing with Addison. So, I decided to let go of some of the rules.... I let him take the box of Cheerios over to the living room. Him and his sister sat next to each other and were sharing so well, it was actually quite cute. So, I continued on in the kitchen putting dinner in the crockpot. Less than 2 minutes later, he says "mommy, come and look at me and sissy sharing"........ As soon as I rounded the corner of the couch I was shocked.... I never knew there were so many Cheerios in the box... it was amazing!!!!! Oh my goodness.... so I handed him a bowl and asked him to pick them up and put them in the bowl, which he did while sissy kind of helped and kind of spread them further and further and further. Before I knew it there were no cheerios in the bag, no cheerios in the bowl, and cheerios ALL OVER the entire living room. I went to get the vaccum and started vaccuming and was still thinking to myself "this is amazing how many cheerios are in that box" and the box wasn't even half full.
Anyways, sorry for the drawn out story.... just had to vent it and if I told Duncan he would just laugh at me and lecture on how I shouldn't have given him the box and blah blah blah.... :) So now I have worked up a sweat, we are out of Cheerios, and it is still at least 2 hours until my relief (Duncan) gets home. Thank goodness it is margarita night with a friend tonight!
