New House

So, we got all moved into our new house. The house is actually quite nice. At first, the whole moving thing really sucked with the timing and everything else going on. But now that we are settle into the new house a little bit it is kinda nice. It is bigger and newer that our old house... so that helps! Grayson seems to like it, there is lots of room to run around and his toys are out here and there and not so crammed into his room and the living room. Plus he gets to see Daddy everyday!! He is still learning and Duncan will actually come home at night! He is so excited about that and yesterday and today he wanted to go out and buy Daddy some treats to wrap them and put them under the tree. Pretty cute! I am thinking... what about mommy?? I guess my treat is being here with him everyday! He is still kind of struggling with everything since his little world as he knows it has been flipped upside down the past 3 months or so, hopefully this can be a new start and things can settle down for us. Lord knows we need it!

So, here are a couple pictures of the house. Both the kids are down for a nap right now so I can't show you their rooms which are awesome! They are BIG compared to our house and Addison's room is just adorable. Mama Nora bought her some cute canvas wall art for her walls and we actually have room for all her little nick-nacks. I found some things of mine from when I was a baby that were at my dad's house that we put in her room.

so, here is the house from the outside. Yes, that is a humongo horse trailer in the driveway. That helped us move and is holding about 200 boxes right now.

And here is a picture of our little Christmas tree. I think we are outgrowing it now. I didn't even pack all our ordaments and this thing is packed! The kids seem to love it. Grayson opened up a present already! I was on the computer the other day and I hear RIIIIP... and I say "Grayson, what are you doing?" and then I hear..."Mommy... a choo-choo!!" hahaha right?? At least I know he is excited about that present! :) Then last night Duncan comes out after putting Addi down to bed with a small wad of something white and said he just pulled it out of Addison's mouth. We were trying to figure out what the heck it could be and we were also shocked that she stored it in her cheek while drinking 2 bottles and never swallowing it. She probably had it stored in her cheek for 30 minutes or so. Come to find out it is the ear off one of my snowman ordaments. Talk about a close call!
